About Beck

The Beck Instructional Lab was moved from 111 William Smith to a newly configured space. Beck is now located on the Lower Level of the Miller Library and has become a full-featured collaborative learning space.

The lab offers faculty, staff and students a place to experiment with emerging technologies while also serving as a flexible teaching space for class workshops, presentations and more.

Equipment

With configurable furniture, gallery lighting and six presentation screens augmented by theater sound, the Beck Instructional Lab can become exactly the space you need.

Twenty-five MacBook Pro notebook computers and eight MiniDV digital camcorders offer exceptional opportunities for media training and composition.

Guides & Manuals

The Beck Instructional Lab offers users a wealth of exceptional technological innovations. To make it easier to work with our equipment, we have posted guides and manuals for the items you will encounter in Beck.

You are welcome to take advantage of these resources before or during your visit to Beck should you have any questions about the technology.
